I loved everything about this tour…it was fast paced, and I managed to Keep up! I really loved our small group, and the free time built in also. The guides made it so enjoyable and stress free, esp. with all the traveling we did. Kudos to Charlie, JJ, Masa, Sweetie, and Ken!

Itinerary

I day at least in Osaka would be nice to see the castle…one night on your own is too much to handle after travel from Takayama.

Lodging

Loved he Green Hotel in Takayama, and the ryokan at Miyajima Island

Food

The best! Especially the Japanese Restaurant at the Green Hotel in Takayama…APlus!

Guides

All were first rate in knowledge, experience, organization, enthusiasm, care of participants..Except for William in Takayama…he does not possess what we came to expect as “ the Samurai Tour” level of quality. He was in a hurry, did not give helpful info to those not on optional tour, did not give a way to contact him if needed, did not return call when he was reached by the hotel about a sick traveler, did nothing to assist, or inform Samurai Tours of a problem, downplayed concerns of the participants…frankly we could have done without him completely. Please look to finding someone who exemplifies the quality of Samurai Tours for Takayama.
