Itinerary

The specific itineraries by each guide were exceptionally helpful.

Lodging

Overall the lodging was great. It would have been nice to be able to get accommodations for aging bodies ie a more western room if possible.

Food

overall the food was good. A few times less appealing but understandable. I liked that there was a wide variety of japanese cuisine. I really liked the katsu curry on the Himeji Castle tour. Best I ever ate.

Guides

I’m giving the guides a 5 except Himeji Castle tour. He couldn’t keep us on time. And we didn’t know the schedule. Some guides told us the time the train was leaving so we could be more accountable.

Tour Organization

The tour was organized really well so that we got to experience a lot of Japan. It made it feel worth the cost.

Tour Transportation

While lugging overnight bags got difficult sometimes. I learned a lot about Japan’s public transportation.
