The itinerary was excellent — a perfect balance of cities, charming village life, and mountain hikes. The variety kept the trip engaging from start to finish. If I could tweak one thing, I’d suggest adding an extra night in Kanazawa instead of Toyama, since it’s only about 15 minutes away by Shinkansen and offers even more to explore.

The choice of hotels was excellent — a thoughtful mix of small ryokans, traditional Japanese-style inns, and comfortable Western-style accommodations. All were in good locations and offered outstanding service. Loved that the most of them had indoor baths

The food was delicious, as always in Japan. The selection of restaurants was well chosen, with mostly Japanese cuisine and an occasional Western-style option. I really enjoyed the variety and the chance to try different regional specialties throughout the trip.

We had two guides, Hiro-San on the first part and Michiko-San on second part of our trip. They were both genuinely wonderful, offering a perfect blend of knowledge and care that made our entire trip feel special. They were very helpful with any of requests or questions and we couldn\'t have asked for better guides.

I love that we used the public transportation. Great way to see Japan.
