The independent tour worked out perfectly for me. I enjoyed the flexibilty to do what I wanted yet still learn culture and history of Japan through day tours. Tammy Ota was very helpful with the emergency contact line. Whatever I needed she was very willing to help. I was happy to meet her on my last days in Japan.

Sakura Ryokan was nice. Staff were really curtious and helpful

Enjoyed the tour guides eating recommendations.

Guides

My group enjoyed all the tour guides to each destination. Very knowledgable and spoke English well, except Kasahara-san was a little difficult to understand at times. No one in my group spoke Japanese.
