Review

The only reason this is not a 5 is because of the travel day from Nagasaki to Sapporo. Upon arrival you need to have the guides take us straight to the hotel to drop off bags and get a brief respite. Then to dinner from there and then to the JR observation tower if there is time. I liked the JR Tower views, and am glad I did not miss it, but was so worn out when there that I did not really enjoy it. I think it was unanimous among the group that this day upon arrival should be changed. We were all dragging badly by the time the late dinner arrived.

Definitely the nicest lodging we have had on a tour

As is normal, some meals are better than others. The lunches provided were sometimes marginal, but the morning breakfasts were usually great. The nice lady at Miyajima Island put on great meals and I want to let you know how great that place is to stay, even if we had to lay on mats on a floor!

For the most part the guides were good. I can\'t remember their names to make further evaluations for you.
