Really great itineraryIt would have been great if we had received some information about the Emperor's Birthday and the public holiday over new year - partly to understand more about the background, and partly to tailor our travel.

Well chosen hotelsWould have rated this 5 if there hadn't been a problem with the rooms in Tokyo when we arrived - we were not happy to have been split up as a family when the itinerary stated we were in the same tower.

Food was good - highlights were definitely away from the big cities - as well as lunch on our guided tour of Tokyo.

Our greeter at Narita and our guide in Tokyo were both excellent.

Overall excellent - the only areas we would improve were - - hotel in Tokyo (detailed above) - documentation to reflect public holidays (detailed above) - reservations for transport over a busy period meant we had to get a taxi to Kanazawa - although thanks for organising this
